Wagon Werks Apartments

Wagon Werks Apartments

Wagon Werks Apartments occupies a historic brick structure that formerly housed a wooden wagon manufacturer, the Columbia Wagon Company built in 1904.  The complex consists of two main buildings that form an “H” shape, connected by a three-story atrium.

In the late 1990’s the structure was converted to residential use containing a total of 60 units; 15 one-bedroom units, 40 two-bedroom units and 5 three-bedroom units.  The renovation also created a large lobby, community room and laundry room on the first floor.

Marathon embarked on an ambitious plan to reposition and stabilize the property, including necessary capital improvements such as roof replacement, the addition of a playground, and improvements to the parking lot and landscaping.
