Mark Beida, P.E.

Since 2003 Mr. Beida has been the Executive Vice President of Marathon Development Group. In this role he has overseen the redevelopment of over 1500 units of affordable rental housing, leveraging such tools as the Low Income Housing Tax Credit Program, Tax Exempt Bond Financing, and Energy Efficiency incentives. Mr. Beida’s focus has also included acquisitions, portfolio management, and oversight of affiliated business lines such as the firm’s construction management arm which has completed nearly $50M of projects. Mr. Beida currently maintains an ownership interest in nearly 700 units of affordable rental housing.

Prior to 2003, Mr. Beida held executive and project management-level positions in the NYC real estate and construction industries.

Mr. Beida was initially trained as a Civil Engineer and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from the University of Vermont and is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Connecticut. He later earned an MBA with a specialization in finance from Columbia Business School.
